- Anyone who denies the Son doesn’t have the Father, either. But anyone who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
- We are witnesses of these things and so is the Holy Spirit, who is given by God to those who obey him.

speaking the truth from sincere hearts.
Those who refuse to gossip
or harm their neighbors

Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! - No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
- But the love of the Lord remains forever
with those who fear him.
His salvation extends to the children’s children
of those who are faithful to his covenant,
of those who obey his commandments! - What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator.
Does a clay pot argue with its maker?
Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying,
‘Stop, you’re doing it wrong!’
Does the pot exclaim,
‘How clumsy can you be?’ - When Jesus heard this, he said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do.”
- Jesus replied, “But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice.”
- The Lord detests lying lips,
but he delights in those who tell the truth. - Every word of God proves true.
He is a shield to all who come to him for protection. - Pride leads to conflict;
those who take advice are wise. - God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice,
for they will be satisfied. - But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
- If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom.
- Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin.”
- Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
