| Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble. | One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. |
| Keep the commandments and keep your life; despising them leads to death. | He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul, but he who is contemptuous in his ways shall die. |
| Let those who are wise understand these things. Let those with discernment listen carefully. The paths of the Lord are true and right, and righteous people live by walking in them. But in those paths sinners stumble and fall. | Who is wise, that he may understand these things? Who is prudent, that he may know them?
