Chinese (traditional)- Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
- Walk with the wise and become wise,
for a companion of fools suffers harm. - When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
- Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin.
- Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.
- And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
- You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
- I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
- But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
- Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.
- Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.
- Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.
- If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?
- Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.
- Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
- Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
- There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
- And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
- Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
- He who finds a wife finds what is good
and receives favor from the Lord. - Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.
- For, “Whoever would love life
and see good days
must keep their tongue from evil
and their lips from deceitful speech.
They must turn from evil and do good;
they must seek peace and pursue it.” - Like a city whose walls are broken through
is a person who lacks self-control. - Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.”
- The one who gets wisdom loves life;
the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper.
Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.A fool spurns a parent’s discipline,
but whoever heeds correction shows prudence.
