- The Lord will give strength to His people;
The Lord will bless His people with peace. - For the Lord your God will bless you just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you.
- For You will light my lamp;
The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. - Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.
- Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

- But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.
- The Lord is on my side;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me? - My son, if your heart is wise,
My heart will rejoice—indeed, I myself. - And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
- Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
- I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;
For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. - I will praise You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments. - I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.
- And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished,
But he who gathers by labor will increase. - For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.
- And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.
- Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
- Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.
- Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.
