Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.

Don’t long for “the good old days.” This is not wise.Don’t say, “Why were the former days better than these?” For you do not ask wisely about this.
Don’t wear yourself out trying to get rich. Be wise enough to know when to quit.Don’t weary yourself to be rich. In your wisdom, show restraint.

Pride leads to conflict; those who take advice are wise.Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is with people who take advice.
Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined by these trials. But the wicked will continue in their wickedness, and none of them will understand. Only those who are wise will know what it means.Many will purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined, but the wicked will do wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
A fool is quick-tempered, but a wise person stays calm when insulted.A fool shows his annoyance the same day, but one who overlooks an insult is prudent.
Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones.

Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!Be of the same mind one toward another. Don’t set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don’t be wise in your own conceits.
All honor and glory to God forever and ever! He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; he alone is God. Amen.Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut.In the multitude of words there is no lack of disobedience, but he who restrains his lips does wisely.
