- If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
- He that walketh with wise men shall be wise:
but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. - Blessed are they that keep his testimonies,
and that seek him with the whole heart. - The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;
he will save,
he will rejoice over thee with joy;
he will rest in his love,
he will joy over thee with singing. - For he satisfieth the longing soul,
and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. - Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- When pride cometh, then cometh shame:
but with the lowly is wisdom. - Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.
- Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. - But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
- The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.
- In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people:
he will beautify the meek with salvation.For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.Next verse!With image
