- For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people:
he will beautify the meek with salvation. - I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.

but with the well advised is wisdom. - Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
- And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
- But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
- If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth.
- And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.
- An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour:
but through knowledge shall the just be delivered. - For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
- I will praise thee with uprightness of heart,
when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. - For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
- And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
