- Jesus looked at them and said, “For men it is impossible, but not for God. For God all things are possible.”
- The Lord is with you while you are with him. If you seek him, he will permit you to find him, but if you abandon him, he will abandon you.

- In that way, I can come to you in joy, if God so wills, and be refreshed together with you.
- I lifted up my voice in prayer to him;
his praise was on my tongue. - The Lord, your God, is in your midst,
a warrior and a savior.
He will rejoice over you with gladness
and renew you through his love.
He will exult over you with shouts of joy. - Do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be afraid, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and give you help,
I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. - Do not associate with unbelievers. For what basis can there be for a partnership between righteousness and lawlessness? What do light and darkness have in common?
- Persevere in prayer, with alert minds and thankful hearts.
- In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God. - When the command is given, at the sound of the archangel’s voice and the call of God’s trumpet, the Lord himself will descend from heaven, and those who have died in Christ will be the first to rise. Then those of us who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them on clouds in the air to meet the Lord. And so, we will be with the Lord forever.
- The Spirit himself bears witness with our Spirit that we are children of God.
- Behold, I am standing at the door, knocking. If one of you hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with that person and that person with me.
- Blessed are those who observe his statutes
and seek him with their whole heart. - For the Lord takes delight in his people,
and he crowns the humble with salvation. - I also ask that the women should dress themselves modestly and decently in suitable clothing. They should be adorned not with braided hair or with gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good works, as is fitting for women who profess their reverence for God.
- May the Lord grant strength to his people.
May the Lord bless his people with peace. - Godliness produces great gain, but only to those who are content.
- Live in harmony with one another. Do not consider yourself to be better than others, but associate with the lowly, and never be conceited.
- I seek you with all my heart;
do not let me stray from your precepts.
