- When you search for me, you will find me. When you seek me with all your heart.
- But if you seek the Lord, your God, and you strive with all your heart and your soul, you will find him there.

and who conducts his affairs with justice. - When they had finished their prayer, the place where they were gathered together shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and proclaimed the word of God fearlessly.
- Therefore, since Christ suffered in the flesh, you should arm yourselves also with the same intention. For anyone who has suffered in the flesh has finished with sin.
- Jesus then said,
“I will remain with you
only for a short time longer,
and then I shall return
to him who sent me.” - Guard your heart with all possible vigilance,
for from it flow the wellsprings of life. - When pride is nurtured, disgrace soon follows,
but wisdom is the hallmark of the humble. - Behold, I am coming soon, and I will bring with me my reward to repay everyone as his deeds deserve.
- Therefore, now that we have been justified by faith, we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- For nothing will be impossible for God.
- And I will ask the Father,
and he will give you another Advocate
to be with you forever. - Let the word of Christ with all its richness dwell in you. Teach and admonish one another in all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God with gratitude in your hearts.
- Turn away from youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, together with those who call on the Lord with a pure heart.
- But if we hope for what we do not yet see, then we wait for it with patience.
- An ignorant man causes strife by his insolence,
but wisdom is found with those who take advice. - I myself did not know him,
but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me,
‘The one on whom you see the Spirit descend and rest
is the one who is to baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ - Then the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
- You are a place of refuge for me;
you preserve me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah
