- A good man deals graciously and lends;
He will guide his affairs with discretion. - The Lord will give strength to His people;
The Lord will bless His people with peace. - And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
- And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
- With my whole heart I have sought You;
Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! - I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart;
I will tell of all Your marvelous works. - Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.
- But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
- Then Jesus said to them, “I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.”
- I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’
- Let all that you do be done with love.
- Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
- Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Oh, that they had such a heart in them that they would fear Me and always keep all My commandments, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!
- Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life. - For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
- By pride comes nothing but strife,
But with the well-advised is wisdom. - And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
- But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.
- I will praise You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments. - If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
- And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever.
- The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor,
But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered. - Woe to him who strives with his Maker!
Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth!
Shall the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’
Or shall your handiwork say, ‘He has no hands’? - The blessing of the Lord makes one rich,
And He adds no sorrow with it.
