but wisdom is with the humble. - Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving.
- It is that very Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
- For the Lord takes pleasure in his people;
he adorns the humble with victory. - Also that the women should dress themselves modestly and decently in suitable clothing, not with their hair braided, or with gold, pearls, or expensive clothes, but with good works, as is proper for women who profess reverence for God.
