- But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.
- After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven. - Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. - If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
- For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
- Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
- If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
- Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
- My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord;
in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. - And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
- Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
- And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
- And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh,
justified in the Spirit,
seen of angels,
preached unto the Gentiles,
believed on in the world,
received up into glory. - Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord. - Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out:
he is excellent in power, and in judgment,
and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict. - But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. - For a thousand years in thy sight
are but as yesterday when it is past,
and as a watch in the night. - I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. - I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
- For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
- Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
- For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.
- Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
- For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted: But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away. And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.Next verse! With image
