Bible Verses about 'Yet'

  • As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
  • Surely He has borne our griefs
    And carried our sorrows;
    Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
    Smitten by God, and afflicted.
  • Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
  • As free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God.
  • For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
  • Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ”
  • Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.
  • Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
  • But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
  • “Now, therefore,” says the Lord,
    “Turn to Me with all your heart,
    With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”
  • Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
  • Yet I am the Lord your God
    Ever since the land of Egypt,
    And you shall know no God but Me;
    For there is no savior besides Me.
  • Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
  • Yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
  • Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed. For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead.
  • You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.
  • Though the fig tree may not blossom,
    Nor fruit be on the vines;
    Though the labor of the olive may fail,
    And the fields yield no food;
    Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
    And there be no herd in the stalls—
    Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
    I will joy in the God of my salvation.
  • Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds?
  • Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
  • He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
  • Can a woman forget her nursing child,
    And not have compassion on the son of her womb?
    Surely they may forget,
    Yet I will not forget you.
    See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
    Your walls are continually before Me.
  • For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
  • Why are you cast down, O my soul?
    And why are you disquieted within me?
    Hope in God;
    For I shall yet praise Him,
    The help of my countenance and my God.
  • But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
    Though you are little among the thousands of Judah,
    Yet out of you shall come forth to Me
    The One to be Ruler in Israel,
    Whose goings forth are from of old,
    From everlasting.
  • Now godliness with contentment is great gain.

Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
