- This is how you should pray:
‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.’ - There is one body and one Spirit, as well as one hope to which you have been called by your vocation.
- God is faithful, and it is by him that you have been called into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
- On one occasion, while they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set Barnabas and Saul apart for me to do the work to which I have called them.”
- Fear not, little flock, for your Father has chosen to give you the kingdom.
- Therefore, whoever breaks even one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be considered least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever observes these commandments and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
- Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is close at hand.
- Cure the sick who are there, and say, ‘The kingdom of God has come unto you.’
- This, in fact, is what you have been called to do, because Christ himself suffered for you and left an example for you to follow in his footsteps.
- Never will I forget your commands,
for through them you have given me life. - The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory forever and ever. Amen.
- After you have suffered for a brief period, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and support you.
- He cried out, “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.” And with these words he breathed his last.
- In my distress I called out to the Lord;
he answered by setting me free. - He has rescued us from the power of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
- For you, O God, have put us to the test;
you have purified us as silver is refined. - Therefore, brethren, be diligent in providing a firm foundation for your call and election. If you do this, you will never stumble, and you will receive a glorious welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
- Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. - When I sing to you, my lips will rejoice,
and so will my soul, which you have redeemed. - Jesus replied,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
no one can see the kingdom of God
without being born from above.” - Rather, seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
- Then Jesus said to him,
“You have come to believe
because you have seen me.
Blessed are those who have not seen
and yet have come to believe.” - Jesus said,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
no one can enter the kingdom of God
unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” - Until now, in my name,
you have not asked for anything.
Ask and you will receive,
so that your joy may be complete. - And let the peace of Christ reign in your hearts, because it was for this that you were called together in one body. Always be thankful.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. And thus we can have confidence in him
that if we ask anything
that is in accordance with his will,
he hears us.Next verse!With image
