- I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have no good apart from you.” - It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
- How I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you in public and from house to house.
- And those who know your name put their trust in you,
for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. - You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you. - Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
- You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.
- Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things.
- Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
- And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.
- For you, O God, have tested us;
you have tried us as silver is tried. - It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave.
- O God, you are my God;
earnestly I seek you;
my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land
where there is no water. - I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.
- O Lord, all my longing is before you;
my sighing is not hidden from you. - So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
- Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?
- Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.
- Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
- You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am.
- You shall be holy to me, for I the Lord am holy and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be mine.
- For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.
- Fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. - O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar. - You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, Honor your father and mother, and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
