You who want to be justified by the law have cut yourselves off from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. | Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. |
I will put my spirit within you, and make you follow my statutes and be careful to observe my ordinances. | And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. |

Well then, does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? | He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? |
Therefore you have no excuse, whoever you are, when you judge others; for in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, are doing the very same things. | Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. |
It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. | And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed. |
I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.” | O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee. |
And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. | And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. |
Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. | Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. |
You must neither add anything to what I command you nor take away anything from it, but keep the commandments of the Lord your God with which I am charging you. | Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. |
For you, O God, have tested us; you have tried us as silver is tried. | For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. |
It will not be so among you; but whoever wishes to be great among you must be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you must be your slave. | But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant. |
Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. | Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. |
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with all of you. | Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. |
O God, you are my God, I seek you, my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. | O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is. |
Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. | Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. |
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. | These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. |
Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” | Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. |
O Lord, all my longing is known to you; my sighing is not hidden from you. | Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee. |
Even to your old age I am he, even when you turn gray I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save. | And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you. |
Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you; and just as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. Only, you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. | Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. |
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God, and that you are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. |

So that by God's will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company. | That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed. |
O Lord, you have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from far away. | O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. |
