- You who want to be justified by the law have cut yourselves off from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
- I will put my spirit within you, and make you follow my statutes and be careful to observe my ordinances.
- Well then, does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?
- Therefore you have no excuse, whoever you are, when you judge others; for in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, are doing the very same things.

you have tried us as silver is tried. - It will not be so among you; but whoever wishes to be great among you must be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you must be your slave.
- Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
- Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with all of you.
- O God, you are my God, I seek you,
my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. - Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
- I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
- Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
- O Lord, all my longing is known to you;
my sighing is not hidden from you. - Even to your old age I am he,
even when you turn gray I will carry you.
I have made, and I will bear;
I will carry and will save. - Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you; and just as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. Only, you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.
- Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body.
- Those of steadfast mind you keep in peace—
in peace because they trust in you. - Do not fear, for I am with you,
do not be afraid, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. - So that by God's will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company.
- O Lord, you have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from far away.
