| You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace. | You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. |
| See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. | Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else. |
