Am (2/4)

  • I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
  • Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
  • Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.
  • Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
  • He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
  • Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord;
    and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you:
    for I am merciful, saith the Lord,
    and I will not keep anger for ever.
  • Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
  • For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
  • And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
  • And even to your old age I am he;
    and even to hoar hairs will I carry you:
    I have made, and I will bear;
    even I will carry, and will deliver you.
  • Hear my prayer, O Lord,
    and give ear unto my cry;
    hold not thy peace at my tears:
    for I am a stranger with thee,
    and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.
  • Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
  • But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
  • Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

  • Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
  • I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
  • For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
  • Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
  • And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
  • Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
  • I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
  • Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
  • For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.
  • While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
