Chinese (traditional)- I love the Lord, because he hath heard
my voice and my supplications.
Because he hath inclined his ear unto me,
therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. - As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.
- As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
- Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
- Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
- There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.
- Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
- For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
- Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
- For a thousand years in thy sight
are but as yesterday when it is past,
and as a watch in the night. - Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
- Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
- For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.
- The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us.
- For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. - For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- For thou, O God, hast proved us:
thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. - And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
- For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
- Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
- A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
- And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
- Like as a father pitieth his children,
so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. - But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
Seek good, and not evil,
that ye may live:
and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you,
as ye have spoken.Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.Next verse! With image
