  • And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

    where is the good way, and walk therein,
    and ye shall find rest for your souls.
    But they said, We will not walk therein.
  • Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
  • Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
  • Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
  • And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.
  • Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
  • Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this.
  • I am sought of them that asked not for me;
    I am found of them that sought me not:
    I said, Behold me, behold me,
    unto a nation that was not called by my name.
  • I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
  • But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
  • Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
  • One thing have I desired of the Lord,
    that will I seek after;
    that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
    all the days of my life,
    to behold the beauty of the Lord,
    and to enquire in his temple.

He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
