- Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
- So that I may come to you with joy, by God’s will, and in your company be refreshed.
- Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted. - Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them he was hungry.
- You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
- For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.
- See, the enemy is puffed up;
his desires are not upright—
but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness. - So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
- For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
- He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
- For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
- Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
- Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
- All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law.
- But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
- But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!
- But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
- “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
- Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- The Lord makes firm the steps
of the one who delights in him. - Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great:
He appeared in the flesh,
was vindicated by the Spirit,
was seen by angels,
was preached among the nations,
was believed on in the world,
was taken up in glory. - But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit. - Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word.
- For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
- Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation.
Bible verse of the day
For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.Random Bible Verse
So we say with confidence,“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
