- The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.

you protect me from trouble.
You surround me with songs of victory. - Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.
- I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’
- In my distress I prayed to the Lord,
and the Lord answered me and set me free. - You have given me your shield of victory.
Your right hand supports me;
your help has made me great.
You have made a wide path for my feet
to keep them from slipping. - O Lord, I have come to you for protection;
don’t let me be disgraced.
Save me, for you do what is right. - As for me, I look to the Lord for help.
I wait confidently for God to save me,
and my God will certainly hear me. - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
May your gracious Spirit lead me forward
on a firm footing. - O Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed;
if you save me, I will be truly saved.
My praises are for you alone! - My future is in your hands.
Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly. - Keep me safe, O God,
for I have come to you for refuge. - I lift my hands to you in prayer.
I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain. - Praise the Lord; praise God our savior!
For each day he carries us in his arms. - God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice,
for they will be satisfied. - He took some bread and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
