but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. - The name of the Lord is a strong tower:
the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. - The memory of the just is blessed:
but the name of the wicked shall rot. - The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way. - The tongue of the just is as choice silver:
the heart of the wicked is little worth. - Blessings are upon the head of the just:
but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. - The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable:
but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness. - The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice:
and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him. - The hope of the righteous shall be gladness:
but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. - Cast thy burden upon the Lord,
and he shall sustain thee:
he shall never suffer
the righteous to be moved. - The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind:
the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down:
the Lord loveth the righteous. - Envy thou not the oppressor,
and choose none of his ways.
For the froward is abomination to the Lord:
but his secret is with the righteous. - But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
Thus saith the Lord,
Stand ye in the ways, and see,
and ask for the old paths,
where is the good way, and walk therein,
and ye shall find rest for your souls.
But they said, We will not walk therein.And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.Next verse!With image
