Chinese (traditional)- After saying this, he was taken up into a cloud while they were watching, and they could no longer see him.
- For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’
- And Jesus said to him, “Go, for your faith has healed you.” Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus down the road.
- For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him.
- God’s way is perfect.
All the Lord’s promises prove true.
He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. - Those who feel free to eat anything must not look down on those who don’t. And those who don’t eat certain foods must not condemn those who do, for God has accepted them.
- Giving a gift can open doors;
it gives access to important people! - What are mere mortals that you should think about them,
human beings that you should care for them? - God’s way is perfect.
All the Lord’s promises prove true.
He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. - But be very careful to obey all the commands and the instructions that Moses gave to you. Love the Lord your God, walk in all his ways, obey his commands, hold firmly to him, and serve him with all your heart and all your soul.
- Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?” “No, not seven times,” Jesus replied, “but seventy times seven!”
- For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.
- Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism. In every nation he accepts those who fear him and do what is right.”
- Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”
- In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened;
he saved me from all my troubles. - But be sure to fear the Lord and faithfully serve him. Think of all the wonderful things he has done for you.
- A sign was fastened above Jesus’ head, announcing the charge against him. It read: “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”
- Those who obey God’s commandments remain in fellowship with him, and he with them. And we know he lives in us because the Spirit he gave us lives in us.
- Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”
- Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
- For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful. If you return to him, he will not continue to turn his face from you.
- And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.
- God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.
- Be still in the presence of the Lord,
and wait patiently for him to act.
Don’t worry about evil people who prosper
or fret about their wicked schemes. - If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen.Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all.
