Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'His plans'
- For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
- Without counsel purposes are disappointed:
but in the multitude of counsellors they are established. - Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established. - There are many devices in a man's heart;
nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand. - A man's heart deviseth his way:
but the Lord directeth his steps. - Grant thee according to thine own heart,
and fulfil all thy counsel. - Surely the Lord God will do nothing,
but he revealeth his secret
unto his servants the prophets. - The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever:
forsake not the works of thine own hands. - O Lord, thou art my God;
I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name;
for thou hast done wonderful things;
thy counsels of old
are faithfulness and truth. - Seek the Lord, and his strength:
seek his face evermore. - Seek the Lord and his strength,
seek his face continually. - The Lord preserveth the strangers;
he relieveth the fatherless and widow:
but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. - He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. - The Lord will give strength unto his people;
the Lord will bless his people with peace. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works. - That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.
- O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name:
make known his deeds among the people. - He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life:
but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction. - And in that day shall ye say,
Praise the Lord, call upon his name,
declare his doings among the people,
make mention that his name is exalted. - Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips;
I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. - And keep the charge of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself.
- When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
- Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time,
and in the night his song shall be with me,
and my prayer unto the God of my life. - And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
- For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
For his anger endureth but a moment;
in his favour is life:
weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning.Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
