- You shall keep my Sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.

- But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.

I will counsel you with my eye upon you. - In peace I will both lie down and sleep;
for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. - So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
- However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
- Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love,
for they have been from of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
according to your steadfast love remember me,
for the sake of your goodness, O Lord! - O Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you; I will praise your name,
for you have done wonderful things,
plans formed of old, faithful and sure. - I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope. - “For the mountains may depart
and the hills be removed,
but my steadfast love shall not depart from you,
and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you. - Great peace have those who love your law;
nothing can make them stumble. - For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
