- Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
- Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.
- Hatred stirreth up strifes:
but love covereth all sins. - Ye that love the Lord, hate evil:
he preserveth the souls of his saints;
he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. - And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
- Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
- And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
- He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good;
and what doth the Lord require of thee,
but to do justly, and to love mercy,
and to walk humbly with thy God? - Thou art all fair, my love;
there is no spot in thee. - And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
- And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
- In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
- I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
- By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
- O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. - Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
- The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;
he will save,
he will rejoice over thee with joy;
he will rest in his love,
he will joy over thee with singing. - And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
- But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
- Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
- Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
- Great peace have they which love thy law:
and nothing shall offend them. - Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Let all your things be done with charity.But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
