- And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
- Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
- For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
- I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
- For a thousand years in thy sight
are but as yesterday when it is past,
and as a watch in the night. - Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
- If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
- And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
- Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out:
he is excellent in power, and in judgment,
and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict. - But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
- Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
- Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord. - And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
- He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress:
my God; in him will I trust. - For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- Hear my prayer, O Lord,
give ear to my supplications:
in thy faithfulness answer me,
and in thy righteousness. - And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
- God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - God setteth the solitary in families:
he bringeth out those which are bound with chains:
but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. - Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
- Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
- Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted: But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.
- So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
- I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope.
But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.Next verse! With image
