- The Lord is close to all who call on him,
yes, to all who call on him in truth. - For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.
- But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.
- You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
- If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person?
- Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord.
Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly. - O Lord, I have come to you for protection;

Save me, for you do what is right. - Let all that I am wait quietly before God,
for my hope is in him. - Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.

The world and all its people belong to him. - Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a loyal spirit within me. - But the Lord will redeem those who serve him.
No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. - Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
- But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.
