- For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

- But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
- The Lord makes firm the steps
of the one who delights in him. - The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth. - The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
- Create in me a pure heart, O God,

the Maker of heaven and earth. - Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. - And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
