- The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.
- This is a faithful saying:
For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him. - All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
- Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
- God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
- You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him.
- If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.
- Let not him who eats despise him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats; for God has received him.
- Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.”
- Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
- But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ.
- Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope in His mercy. - Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.
- I cried to Him with my mouth,
And He was extolled with my tongue. - Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
- Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.
- Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him;
Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,
Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. - If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.
- So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
- But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
- Truly my soul silently waits for God;
From Him comes my salvation. - Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.”
- You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You. - Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
- A man’s gift makes room for him,
And brings him before great men.
