- O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him. - The Lord is my portion, saith my soul;
therefore will I hope in him. - Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
- He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
- The Lord is good,
a strong hold in the day of trouble;
and he knoweth them that trust in him. - Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants:
and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. - To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
- This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
- For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
- As for God, his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. - And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
- As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. - For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
- For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
- And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
- The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song will I praise him. - For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.
- Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.
- The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice:
and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him. - Commit thy way unto the Lord;
trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light,
and thy judgment as the noonday. - And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.
