- Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!
Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! - “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.” - Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.
- By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
- The Lord is good,
a stronghold in the day of trouble;
he knows those who take refuge in him. - Every word of God proves true;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
- The Lord redeems the life of his servants;
none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned. - This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
- To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.
- For ‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are indeed his offspring.’
- The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice;
he who fathers a wise son will be glad in him. - This God—his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
- And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming.
- Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
- For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
- This God—his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
in him my heart trusts, and I am helped;
my heart exults,
and with my song I give thanks to him. - Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
- Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.
- For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.
- Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.
- Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him, and he will act.
He will bring forth your righteousness as the light,
and your justice as the noonday.With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.Next verse!With image
