- The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him,
to all that call upon him in truth. - The name of the Lord is a strong tower:
the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. - Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing,
and obtaineth favour of the Lord. - He loveth righteousness and judgment:
the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. - I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. - O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever. - And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
- Arise, shine; for thy light is come,
and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. - I called upon the Lord in distress:
the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place. - The Lord will give strength unto his people;
the Lord will bless his people with peace. - Honour the Lord with thy substance,
and with the firstfruits of all thine increase. - For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people:
he will beautify the meek with salvation. - Trust in the Lord, and do good;
so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. - The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry. - No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper;
and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. - And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
- The way of the Lord is strength to the upright:
but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. - Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
- The fear of man bringeth a snare:
but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe. - For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.
- Wait on the Lord: be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord. - The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
- This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles. - Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
- So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.Next verse!With image
