- As for me, I do not regard my life as of any value, only that I finish the race and complete the mission that I received from the Lord Jesus—to bear witness to the gospel of God’s grace.
- Jesus said,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
no one can enter the kingdom of God
unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” - Jesus answered them,
“My teaching is not my own;
rather, it comes from him who sent me.” - On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.
- May the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.
- On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried out,
“If anyone is thirsty,
let him come to me and drink.” - All of these were constantly engaged in prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
- Jesus answered, “If it is possible! All things are possible for one who has faith.”
- Commit your way to the Lord;
place your trust in him, and he will act.
He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
and the justice of your cause, like the noonday. - Jesus replied,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
everyone who sins
is a slave of sin.” - While he was departing as they gazed upward toward the sky, suddenly two men dressed in white robes stood beside them, and they said, “Men of Galilee, why are you standing there looking up into the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will come back in the same way as you have seen him going into heaven.”
- And whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
- The Lord is slow to anger but great in power,
and he will never allow the guilty
to escape punishment.
He makes his way in whirlwind and storm,
and the clouds are the dust beneath his feet. - What I commanded them was this: Listen to my voice, and I will be your God, and you will be my people. If you follow all the ways that I command you, then you will prosper.
- The Lord makes a man’s steps secure
when he approves of his conduct. - In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing among the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
- For I know that through your prayers and with the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will result in deliverance for me.
- Rather, grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To him be glory both now and for all eternity. Amen. - Indeed, persecution will afflict all who want to lead a godly life in Christ Jesus.
- I am confident of this: that the one who began a good work in you will bring it to completion on the day of Christ Jesus.
- When Jesus heard this, he said, “It is not the healthy who need a physician, but rather those who are sick.”
- It was for this purpose that he called you through our gospel so that you might come to share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them. For it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”
- I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation to know him.
- For there is one God,
and there is one mediator between God and man,
Christ Jesus, himself a man.
When God saw by their actions that they had turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not inflict upon them the punishment that he had threatened. Jesus then said to her,
“I am the resurrection and the life.
Whoever believes in me,
even though he dies, will live,
and everyone who lives
and believes in me
will never die.
Do you believe this?”Next verse! With image
