- Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
- To do justice and judgment
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - The rich ruleth over the poor,
and the borrower is servant to the lender. - I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live:
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. - That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.
- Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life.
- For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live.
- But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
- His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
- The statutes of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart:
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes. - And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
- Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established. - For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
- Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

- For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
- The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry. - And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
- Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
- O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name:
make known his deeds among the people. - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
- Thou wilt shew me the path of life:
in thy presence is fulness of joy;
at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. - The entrance of thy words giveth light;
it giveth understanding unto the simple. - Lying lips are abomination to the Lord:
but they that deal truly are his delight.
