- Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great:
He appeared in the flesh,
was vindicated by the Spirit,
was seen by angels,
was preached among the nations,
was believed on in the world,
was taken up in glory. - My lips will shout for joy
when I sing praise to you—
I whom you have delivered. - A person finds joy in giving an apt reply—
and how good is a timely word! - And every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father. - For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
- I fell to the ground and heard a voice say to me, ‘Saul! Saul! Why do you persecute me?’
- Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever. - Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. - Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
- For great is your love, reaching to the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches to the skies. - God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.
- Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done. - Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
- The rich rule over the poor,
and the borrower is slave to the lender. - The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are attentive to their cry. - To do what is right and just
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - This is what the Lord says to Israel: “Seek me and live.”
- What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?
- And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
- May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
- Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- By day the Lord directs his love,
at night his song is with me—
a prayer to the God of my life. - Defend the weak and the fatherless;
uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.
I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.
