Chinese (traditional)- In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.
- The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me;
your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.
Do not forsake the work of your hands. - Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
forever. - Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us,
and establish the work of our hands upon us;
yes, establish the work of our hands! - But I have trusted in your steadfast love;
my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
because he has dealt bountifully with me. - Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand.
- Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love,
for in you I trust.
Make me know the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. - But I will sing of your strength;
I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning.
For you have been to me a fortress
and a refuge in the day of my distress. - Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you as long as I live;
in your name I will lift up my hands. - Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your steadfast love;
according to your abundant mercy
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin! - Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever! - Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in your power to do it. - But the steadfast love of the Lord is
from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children's children,
to those who keep his covenant
and remember to do his commandments. - And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
- The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable,
but the mouth of the wicked, what is perverse. - Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity
and passing over transgression
for the remnant of his inheritance?
He does not retain his anger forever,
because he delights in steadfast love. - Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.
How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness,
who publishes salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.” And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.Next verse!With image
