- He that followeth after righteousness and mercy
findeth life, righteousness, and honour. - Thou wilt shew me the path of life:
in thy presence is fulness of joy;
at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. - Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life. - And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
- Death and life are in the power of the tongue:
and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. - Because thy lovingkindness is better than life,
my lips shall praise thee.
Thus will I bless thee while I live:
I will lift up my hands in thy name. - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
- Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
- For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
for ever. - For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
- Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
- Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
- The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
- And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
- Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time,
and in the night his song shall be with me,
and my prayer unto the God of my life. - I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
- But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
- That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
- Behold that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it is his portion.
- But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life:
but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.Next verse!With image
