- The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich,
and he adds no sorrow with it. - Guard your heart above all else,

than to be rich and dishonest. - But each day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon me,

praying to God who gives me life. - That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing?

- God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
