- Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

- Make thy face to shine upon thy servant:
save me for thy mercies' sake. - Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. - As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
- Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
- The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

- Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
