- My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:
when shall I come and appear before God? - I had fainted, unless I had believed
to see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

- Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
- Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way?
by taking heed thereto according to thy word. - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
- Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.
- For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

- For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

- Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.
- And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.
- As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time,
and in the night his song shall be with me,
and my prayer unto the God of my life.A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
