- But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
- And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
- But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
- Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
- Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy:
for thou renderest to every man
according to his work. - For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.
- He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
- Surely the Lord God will do nothing,
but he revealeth his secret
unto his servants the prophets. - Except the Lord build the house,
they labour in vain that build it:
except the Lord keep the city,
the watchman waketh but in vain. - Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
- Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
- Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. - Deliver my soul, O Lord,
from lying lips,
and from a deceitful tongue. - Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand:
forget not the humble. - For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
- So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
- And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
- Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord;
that walketh in his ways. - When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
- Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee.
And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.Like as a father pitieth his children,
so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.Next verse!With image
