- You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
- They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”
- Save me, Lord,
from lying lips
and from deceitful tongues. - You, Lord, are forgiving and good,
abounding in love to all who call to you. - “And with you, Lord, is unfailing love”;
and, “You reward everyone
according to what they have done.” - Unless the Lord builds the house,
the builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the guards stand watch in vain. - He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. - For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.
- But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.
- This is what the Lord says to Israel: “Seek me and live.”
- Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God.
Do not forget the helpless. - Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
who walk in obedience to him. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth. - Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing
without revealing his plan
to his servants the prophets. - Keep my commands and follow them. I am the Lord.
- Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
- The Lord sends poverty and wealth;
he humbles and he exalts. - For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God? - May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.
- Look to the Lord and his strength;
seek his face always. - And every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father. - Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
- For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent and live!
- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in humans. - I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits,
and in his word I put my hope.
Before a word is on my tongue
you, Lord, know it completely.Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.
