- But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
- For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end.
- And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
- But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
- These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
- The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way. - There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
- Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted: But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.
- Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
- No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference.
- For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
- But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed. - That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.
- Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
- Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
- Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things:
this is known in all the earth. - He that hath no rule over his own spirit
is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. - For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.
- This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts,
which is wonderful in counsel,
and excellent in working. - For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
- Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.
- The Lord God is my strength,
and he will make my feet like hinds' feet,
and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. - And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
- Because I delivered the poor that cried,
and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him.
The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me:
and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy.
We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith.
