- For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.

For the Son of Man’s sake. - Happy is the man who finds wisdom,
And the man who gains understanding. - He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. - Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.
- How can a young man cleanse his way?
By taking heed according to Your word. - Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
- The Lord is on my side;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me? - Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! - I, even I, am He who comforts you.
Who are you that you should be afraid
Of a man who will die,
And of the son of a man who will be made like grass? - When a man has taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war or be charged with any business; he shall be free at home one year, and bring happiness to his wife whom he has taken.
- A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
- He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’

- You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you.
- As in water face reflects face,
So a man’s heart reveals the man. - Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
- As iron sharpens iron,
So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. - For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
- A fool vents all his feelings,
But a wise man holds them back. - But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.
- A perverse man sows strife,
And a whisperer separates the best of friends. - For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
- For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
- There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death. - So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.
- Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty,
And before honor is humility. - Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
- The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord,
And He delights in his way. - It is better to trust in the Lord
Than to put confidence in man.
