- For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there in their midst.
- Give thanks to the Lord, invoke his name;
proclaim his deeds among the peoples. - Those who revere your name place their trust in you,
for you never abandon those who seek you, O Lord. - Until now, in my name,
you have not asked for anything.
Ask and you will receive,
so that your joy may be complete. - Jesus replied,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
everyone who sins
is a slave of sin.” - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

“This is the work of God:
to believe in the one whom he has sent.” - He builds his upper chambers in the heavens
and establishes his vault of the sky over the earth—
the Lord is his name. - But for you who fear my name
the sun of justice will arise
with its healing rays.
You will emerge leaping
like calves released from the stall. - There is no salvation in anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to men by which we can be saved.
- Hence, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.
- Who indeed conquers the world
except the one who believes
that Jesus is the Son of God? - Teach me your ways, O Lord,
so that I may walk in your truth;
let me worship your name
with an undivided heart. - Jesus replied, “Did I not tell you that if you have faith you will see the glory of God?”
- Above his head was inscribed the charge against him: “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”
- God abides in anyone who acknowledges
that Jesus is the Son of God,
and that person abides in God. - For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so too do we believe that God will bring forth with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
- An honorable name is more to be desired than great riches,
and high esteem is preferable to silver and gold. - And every tongue should proclaim
to the glory of God the Father:
Jesus Christ is Lord. - Blessed are you when people hate you and ostracize you, when they insult you and denounce your name as evil on account of the Son of Man.
- And my God will fully supply all your needs out of the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
- For the wages of sin is death, but the gift freely given by God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- And every day, both in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming Jesus as the Christ.
- However, the Advocate, the Holy Spirit,
whom the Father will send in my name,
will teach you everything
and remind you of all
that I have said to you. - Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
