- This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.
- The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness can never extinguish it. - You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and you are right, because that’s what I am.
- So Jesus told them, “My message is not my own; it comes from God who sent me.”
- You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you.
- Then what will you think if you see the Son of Man ascend to heaven again?
- And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.
- I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep.
- Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.
- God created everything through him,
and nothing was created except through him. - Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.”
- For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.
- Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.
- Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”
- Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.
- Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God’s place in your hearts.
- I could have no greater joy than to hear that my children are following the truth.
- Everyone who sins is breaking God’s law, for all sin is contrary to the law of God.
- This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
- In the beginning the Word already existed.
The Word was with God,
and the Word was God. - And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.
- Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life.
- Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.”
- But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
- God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one.Instead, I want to see a mighty flood of justice,
an endless river of righteous living. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. The Father and I are one.Next verse! With image
