Chinese (traditional)- Help us, O God, our Savior,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us and wipe away our sins
for your name’s sake. - Yet, O Lord, you are our Father;
we are the clay and you are our potter;
all of us are the work of your hands. - Our God is in heaven;
he does whatever he pleases. - However, if we confess our sins,
he who is faithful and just
will forgive our sins
and cleanse us from all wrongdoing. - Teach us to comprehend how few our days are
so that our hearts may be filled with wisdom. - It was for this purpose that he called you through our gospel so that you might come to share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- But he was pierced for our offenses
and crushed for our iniquity;
the punishment that made us whole fell upon him,
and by his bruises we have been healed. - Although it was our afflictions that he bore,
our sufferings that he endured,
we thought of him as stricken,
as struck down by God and afflicted. - To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
- Our help is in the name of the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth. - Indeed, who is God except the Lord?
Who is the Rock besides our God? - Let us examine and test our ways
and return to the Lord. - For who is God except the Lord?
Who is a rock aside from our God? - You will again show us compassion
and wash away our guilt;
you will cast all our sins
into the depths of the sea. - Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though our outer self is continuing to decay, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
- Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- He is himself the sacrifice for our sins—
and not only for our sins
but also for the sins of the whole world. - Come forth! Let us bow down to worship him;
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker. - But our citizenship is in heaven, and from there we await our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- The Spirit himself bears witness with our Spirit that we are children of God.
- The grass may wither and the flower may fade,
but the word of our God will endure forever. - Some trust in chariots, and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord, our God. - This is how we know what love is:
he laid down his life for us,
and we in turn must be prepared
to lay down our lives for our brethren. - As far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us. - The Lord commanded us to observe all of these statutes and to fear the Lord, our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, even as we are today.
But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.O Lord, all my longing is known to you,
and my sighs are not hidden from you. For I, the Lord, am your God
and I grasp your right hand.
It is I who say to you,
Do not fear; I will help you.Next verse!With image
